Every once in a great while, a truly special one comes along. "Chip" was that special one for us. Chip went to live with
Ray and Barbara Parsons (Raybar) as a young puppy. When he won both Best
in Sweepstakes and Best of Winners at the 1991 AWC Southern Specialty on
his six-month birthday, we knew he had a great future. He continued to
do well in the show ring throughout his life with numerous Best of
Breeds and Veterans honors. Chip is pictured winning under Iva
Kimmelman (Merci Isle) with Barbara Parsons handling. Chip's greatest contribution was as a stud dog. He was a prepotent sire, who stamped a characteristic look on his get. He was used by many of the top breeders and we expect he will feature prominently in many pedigrees for years to come. We are forever grateful that Chip went to a very special home.
